“When we were in Venice, we purchased a few curiosities. And finding them burdensome, we thought of sending them home by one of the English vessels lying in the Canal. We went out in a gondola with our box, and having asked for the captain of one of the vessels, we put to him the question: ”Will…

In this viral video about hating religion and loving Jesus one major error is he doesn’t know what religion means. He starts from an erroneous idea of what religion is. Google “religion definition” and this is what comes...

Q. 28. What advantage is it to us to know that God has created, and by his providence does still uphold all things?
A. That we may be patient in adversity; thankful in prosperity; and that in all things, which may hereafter befall us, we place our firm trust in our faithful God and Father, that nothing shall separate us from his love; since all creatures are so in his hand,...

Late night Waffle House with a friend (and then you run into two more by chance, which makes friend -> friends) might just be the greatest thing ever. I ate the All Star Special. Don’t judge. It was a great time. Check out their blogs: Tim and James (or Murray).

Saddened by the death of Christopher Hitchens. He was an extremely interesting man, and brilliant. It is so sad to see him pass without Christ (that I know of). I think I want to read some books by him. The few articles I’ve read of his are some of, if not the best written articles I’ve come across.
